As the air becomes crisper, and the trees prepare to show themselves in a tapestry of reds, oranges, and yellows, it’s time to turn my attention to fall family mini-sessions – a great way to create awesome memories with your littles. Government House in Victoria has so many stunning settings for family mini sessions and that’s why it’s one of my favourite spots. I also love that the sheltered areas around Government House in case it’s windy, ensuring your family remains comfortable throughout the session.
What sets a family portrait mini session apart is the art of capturing each family member’s unique personality in a matter of minutes. This is where the magic happens. These brief sessions may not seem like much time, but with the right photographer, they can yield so many awesome, unforgettable moments. Especially with kids involved, keeping the session short and sweet is key to ensuring they stay engaged and don’t get bored. You’ll be amazed at the variety of beautiful, candid shots you can capture in just 15 minutes.
