Seeing families get together after a few years apart is a special gift. And it’s extra special when a family asks for an adventure session because it means we get lots of time to do an activity together. This family chose to go on a little hike through East Sooke Park, ending up at a spectacular deserted beach for a picnic lunch. As they laughed and told stories, I moved around and caught all the laughter and teasing. I loved how connected this family felt towards each other – there’s nothing better than photographing love and I think this proves you can create great family memories even after all the kids have grown up!
The area known as Sooke is on the the unceded traditional territories of the T’Sou-ke and Scia’new Nations. Want to learn more about the territory where you live, work and play? Check out the First People’s Map of BC.
