Now that the days are getting longer and the sun is shining more often it’s been amazing to spend more time at Beacon Hill Park among the flowers. Believe it or not, this was a fairly short family portrait session that took only about 20 minutes. But when you have an expressive toddler who’s curious about everything it’s not hard to get a ton of variety without even having to travel very far within the park. Beacon Hill is one of my favourite locations for family portrait sessions in Victoria because you can find lots of shade, there are plenty of things to do for littles (including feeding the ducks, visiting the petting zoo or playing on the swings), and the backdrops are all utterly stunning no matter what time of year.
