I have to admit, writing blog posts about weddings is always a bit of a struggle for me. Not because I don’t have anything to say (I mean, have we met?), but because I find it so much easier to show how I feel through photographs rather than tell you with words. And let me tell you—Julian & Jacob’s wedding on a private farm in Courtenay left me speechless in the best possible way.
As Derek and I sifted through the thousands (yes, thousands) of photos we captured that day, we kept finding ourselves grinning like total goofballs. This wedding wasn’t just beautiful—it was alive with joy, with laughter, with a kind of love that wraps around you like a warm summer breeze. And then there was that moment. You know the one. When every single guest stood together, hands clasped, hearts full, tears streaming down more than a few faces (ours included). Not a dry eye in the house—or should I say, on the farm. It was one of those rare, spine-tingling, soul-filling experiences where you could physically feel the love in the air. I swear, even the cows in the distance were emotional.
So, consider this your official warning:
This post is packed with photos. Settle in, grab a cup of tea (or a glass of bubbly), and prepare to be completely enchanted by Julian & Jacob’s magical day. Because if ever there was a wedding that deserved to be relived again and again, this was it.
