My favourite way to photograph families is at their home, where all the intimate moments happen. It’s where children learn, where they create their own magic realms, and where they are nurtured with love. I had a chance to photograph this little cutie pie a couple of years ago, when he was just seven months old (see the post on my documentary family website). This time he gave me a tour of his new “big boy room,” and his parents’ amazing garden where he farms for berries, and rides his bike. It’s also always a treat to photograph a professional photographer’s family. Juliana is an awesome photographer in Victoria BC. She and her husband Hayden have given their son a special place to grow up — a place he will always call “home.”
