Elizabeth & Vincent’s wedding at the Inn at Laurel Point Penthouse Suite, Victoria BC

A lensbaby tilt-shift photo taken at the penthouse suite balcony at Inn at Laurel Point. A bride and groom look at each other while laughing and you can see Victoria in the distance.

From the moment I heard Elizabeth and Vincent were referred by Dani Boynton from Fluevog Shoes and that they were rocking Fluevogs for their wedding, I just knew they were going to be an awesome couple. And yep, they totally were! Their wedding at the Inn at Laurel Point was perfect, with those little unexpected moments that make a wedding feel extra special.

They said their I do’s in the Penthouse Suite, overlooking Victoria’s Harbour, with a small group of their closest family and friends surrounding them. The weather decided to play with us, tossing in rain showers throughout the day. But just as they were about to tie the knot, the skies cleared just enough for them to have their ceremony outside—perfect timing!

One of my favorite details was Elizabeth’s dress, which was their mother’s wedding gown – originally a long, flowing design from the 1970s, beautifully modified into a short, modern 2024 version. It was the perfect blend of sentimental and stylish, and Elizabeth absolutely rocked it!

Afterward, we didn’t have to venture far for photos—the hotel grounds had everything we needed, and the post-rain sky even gave us that moody, cinematic light. These two were up for anything, and their energy was infectious. Once we wrapped up, they headed to The Courtney Room for a cozy dinner to celebrate. No big fuss, no over-the-top production—just a sweet, love-filled day with two people who are clearly meant to be together. I feel so lucky I got to be part of it!
