Jeramiah & Michael’s wedding at their farm on Salt Spring Island

Jeramiah and Michael got married in the field next to their beautiful home on Salt Spring Island, surrounded by their favourite people. The sun was out, and so was the love. Instead of a traditional aisle walk, they followed the wedding procession hand-in-hand, walking to the altar together—a really beautiful way to start this next chapter.

Their ceremony was officiated by Barbara Densmore, who always makes weddings feel personal and meaningful. She has a way of bringing everyone into the moment, making guests feel like participants rather than just observers.

I photographed this wedding alongside Aly Sibley, who captured many of the photos in this collection. Scroll down for more details about their charming celebration!

Their incredible custom-designed home was the setting for cocktails and the reception, and it looked straight out of a magazine. A great idea I’d never seen before—Jeramiah and Michael organized a day camp-style setup for the kids, complete with activities and even a camp counselor. It was such a smart way to keep them entertained while the adults celebrated.

One of the funniest moments of the afternoon was the shoe game. I’ve seen this game played a lot, but this one had everyone cracking up, including me and Ally. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

Among the guests were friends who own Bullock Lake Farm, a gorgeous wedding venue on Salt Spring Island. They also did the florals, and as you’ll see, they were absolutely stunning.

I’ve been lucky to document so many charming weddings, and this one was definitely up there—a perfect mix of love, laughter, and community. Congratulations Jeramiah and Michael!!
