When you see Bill & Erica together you just know… they’re that perfect fit. What’s even better is how their families just fit together perfectly too. Erica’s aunt and uncle are close friend’s of Bill’s parents and it was Erica’s aunt who originally had the idea of setting these two up. The result culminated with this amazingly joyful day in East Aurora, NY where Bill grew up. The wedding was held at the Roycroft, which is pretty much an institution in this perfect little American village. It’s where Bill’s own parents held their wedding celebration when they got married. The Roycroft Campus is the best preserved and most complete complex of buildings remaining in the United States of the “guilds” that evolved as centers of craftsmanship and philosophy during the late 19th century. The historic church and inn were the perfect backdrop for their wedding. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Erica and her family through photographing her sister Victoria’s wedding five years ago and her cousin Christina’s wedding this year so I had some sense of the kind of party they were going to have. I was pretty stoked to be on the dance floor with everyone and the pictures pretty much speak for themselves! At the end of the night, Bill and his band performed for everyone (and the public too) an after party at a local bar. How cool is that? Erica and Bill, it was an honor to be a part of your wedding and a huge congratulations!
